This website is a place that I hope will bring each of you a sense of peace, comfort and awareness of the wonderful energy you have around you at all times. The name of my business says- awakened by angels - and is a result of just that. Since I've become more aware of God's messengers and my own special light, my life has taken a new direction. Through this website, you are about to hear "my story" and observe some of my joy! Since 2001, I went from being a lab technician for a prominent paper company for 27 years, to becoming the owner of a business called Simpson Originals... awakened by angels. The business is totally devoted to angels, fairies and things I love, like painting and photography. When my mother-in-law was diagnosed with cancer, I was drawn to reading more about angels. I had always believed in angels but never knew about them in any great detail. I learned many things that intrigued me, especially the fact that they were only a skin's thickness away, just a different vibrational level. The aspect of meditation focused my attention and as I quieted my mind, I began to see things, over time, that validated much of what I was reading. Many things I observed, initially, related to my mother-in-law and I was able to bring some comfort to my husband and children with regard to her passing. As time went on, the things that I observed and the desire not to forget them, encouraged me to put brush to paper, knowing that even if I didn't understand completely, someone else would. Prior to this I had always been able to draw, but had to copy things that I liked, because try as I may, I could never get anything original to come together. Suddenly my head was full and putting the images to paper wasn't a problem, for I had allowed the inspiration to consume my creative mind. As luck (or the angels) would have it, I was laid off from my job and suddenly free to pursue these mystical mentors and all they had to show me. I had started to see their formations in the clouds and received greater inspiration for my artwork. Just prior to losing my job, I met a wonderful woman who owned an angel store. She was closing her business at the time, but reopened it 9 months later. Much to my surprise, she invited me to be a part and rent space to show my art and special photos. I was delighted, accepted her offer and I remained there for 3 years, until March of 2005, when she closed. With my angels leading the way, I found my own shop, now located at 1379 Kings Highway(across from the candle store),in Sugar Loaf, N.Y.. I have now expanded my wares from "cloud pictures", angel and fairy inspired art to inspiratonal gifts, books, porcelain dolls and much more. There is no doubt, in looking back, that I have been led to this business by God and His angels. They put me where I needed to be, presented the opportunities to learn what I needed to know and meet the people I needed to meet to start a successful venture. I am so happy to share my work, to relate what it means to me, to learn and grow from the people I meet and see the angel light awaken in others. When we allow life to take us, we go to places we never dreamed of and do things we never knew we could do.
